Men's Ministry
Why Do We Call Ourselves Men of Covenant?
Now therefore, if you will indeed obey My voice and keep My covenant, then you shall be special treasures (heroes) to Me... (Exodus 19:5)
In the above scripture, God describes a special treasure (hero) that is directly connected to obedience and covenant keeping. Today, that is a tall order among males, primarily because they have not learned to become men. Men of Covenant are endeavoring to change this. Jesus said, “…straight is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it” (Matthew 7:14). Jesus seeks, as He has in each generation, for a breed of MEN (heroes) who will be uncompromising in their walk and take responsibility for their lives.
Through the many outreaches and programs of Covenant Church Men's Ministry, we encourage, empower and exhort men to walk this fine line for Christ in a way they may never have conceived by themselves. With a covenant of men around them, they can become heroes of God!
“A man is a golden impossibility. The line he must walk is a hair’s breadth.” -Ralph Waldo Emerson
